You watched the opening scene where Gipsy Danger fights Knifehead. The screen was so dark you couldn’t tell Otachi from Leatherback. The audio had a hollow echo because it was recorded from a theater seat’s headphone jack. About halfway through, a watermark faded in from a betting website. And yet… you loved it. Because it was Pacific Rim . And you couldn’t wait for the Blu-ray to drop in October to finally see the sword scene properly.
