Hotmail (or Outlook.com) is a consumer email service. KMS activation has no connection to any email address. It validates against a corporate server, not Microsoft’s cloud identity system. If a website or tool asks for your Hotmail login to “activate via KMS,” it is a phishing attempt or malware.
