Born in 1986 in Alford, Aberdeenshire, Sande began her music career at a young age, performing in local bands and singing competitions. She rose to fame in the late 2000s, releasing her debut single "Lifetime" in 2009. "Our Version of Events" was her debut album, and it marked a major breakthrough in her career.
