Version 0.3.2b introduces a reticence system : Kael now speaks in shorter, more halting sentences when discussing his past, and his violent outbursts are rarer but more jarring. A new backstory scene (accessible via a nightmare sequence in Chapter 7) reveals his childhood in foster care—neither excusing his actions nor reducing him to a one-dimensional brute.
