The setting shifts to a more tropical vibe (filmed in Hawaii). Ambrosius continues his attempts to enchant Kevin using magical artifacts like a china doll. The season culminates in a massive magical battle where Grace's sister, Diana , appears and defeats her, while Ambrosius vanishes and later reappears to reclaim Kevin.
The island of Dantes Cove has vanished from all maps, existing only in a pocket dimension. A new protagonist, (believed to be the son of Adam and the witch Gwen), discovers a blood-stained page from the "Book of Spoons" (a key artifact from Season 7). This page allows him to resurrect the island.
Following a massive tsunami that destroys much of the island, the survivors must deal with diminished powers, new arrivals like the mysterious Griffen, and a shifting magical hierarchy.
