Chaos Walking is a classic example of a movie with a brilliant premise that suffers from uneven pacing and rewrites. It is entertaining enough for a single watch, largely carried by the charisma of its two leads, but it fails to reach the heights of the young adult (YA) sci-fi giants it tries to emulate.
