Despite—or because of—its impossibility, Qmanga 5 has spawned a ferocious underground fandom. Since no physical copy exists (the file corrupts any printer), fans engage in “Retroactive Cosplay,” dressing up as characters from the non-existent volumes 1-4. Wikis have been created to “reconstruct” the missing plot, with over 10,000 contradictory entries. The most popular fan theory holds that we are all living inside Qmanga 5 , and that volume 6 will begin when the universe ends.
