The highly anticipated Bollywood film, Laal Singh Chaddha, has been making waves among movie enthusiasts. Directed by Advaid Chandan and produced by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, the film is a remake of the 1994 Hollywood classic, Forrest Gump. Starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan, the movie follows the journey of Laal Singh Chaddha, a man with a low IQ who finds himself in the midst of significant historical events.

Laal, confused by the sudden attention, found himself on a panel about viral culture. He insisted the film was a home project he’d made years ago and legally owned. Meera, feeling guilty about the chaos her single post had unleashed, teamed up with Laal to do something constructive: they organized a community screening fundraiser to digitize and preserve local amateur films legally and ethically.
