The compilation (also known as Diez Años de Rock en tu Idioma ) is a landmark series of albums released by the BMG Ariola label starting in 1997 to commemorate a decade of the "Rock en tu Idioma" movement. This movement, which peaked between 1986 and 1991, was a pivotal marketing campaign that successfully promoted rock bands from Mexico, Argentina, and Spain across Latin America.
